We finished filming a bit earlier this season. Normally we venture into mid may but after a very sucessful, interesting season we were able to finish up with a bang.

I just finished polishing off the final trailer that will be available any day. I was really trying to convey the feeling of the full length film, and I believe it has done so very well. I hope everyone enjoys! In addition to that, you will be able to pick up an extended version sort of a trailer in cases of Whistler Beer, in BC and Alberta starting June 27th. Within the case of Whistler Beer you will receive a PNW promo DVD and you will be able to enter a contest to win a trip to Whistler BC, and an array of prizes from Atomic, Carrera, Theory-3 and other companies.

You can also view the finished cover within the "Synopsis" page.

This season has been a crazy season up in the great white north. Back in August 2006 we had decided on the idea of making a movie based solely on the Pacific Northwest, and all of our travels within it. Many people were skeptical, not on the idea but rather would the coastal snow and weather play a huge role in our failure.

October rolled around and my hometown of Vancouver BC was experiencing some of the most terrible and intense weather it had ever seen. Forests were getting ravaged and highways were being covered by mud and rock. This weather covered the entire Pacific Northwest bringing heavy rain, hurricane force gusts, and just general warm, terrible weather. As this was all going on I began debating the idea. I remember the thought of changing or manipulating our original idea. Well as soon as the calendar flipped to November the jet stream shifted and our weather changed! November, December and the first half of January were by far the most memorable, and overall best days our crew have had.  You can check out some stills from video to see some of these impressively deep days.

I guess with the Pacific Northwest receiving so much snow there must be a downside. You would expect something in regards to weather, closures or something of that nature to be the downer, but unfortunately it has been the explosion of film companies raiding our local spots. It’s been a fight to get the goods, but it has been a good one.

At least this season all of the movies will finally showcase why living and riding in the PNW is great.

More to come!
